The Deputy Station Manager, also known as the Deputy Broadcasting Officer, is second in charge of STAR. Their exact responsibilities change significantly each year, and can include acting as a social rep for the committee, liaising between STAR and Hearing Aid, or taking on some of the Station Manager's tasks. The Deputy Station Manager chairs meetings whenever the Station Manager is unable to attend.
